Love Means Never Having To Say You’re Sorry

Aren’t you sorry that you hurt me so ?

Or do you really not care whenever you go ?

If love means never having to say you’re sorry,

Perhaps you won’t leave me in quite such a hurry.

So we’ll find love in the middle, with a little less worry.

Chorus

Meet me halfway,

Say all the things you want to say,

Darlin’, you really take my breath away,

Do to me, a million things, but never once have to say sorry, today.

If love means never having to say you’re sorry,

Why do you do things that leave me in such a flurry ?

You said that you’d give me sanctuary …

Do things extra - ordinairy, bring me magic just like a fairy …

But then you break my heart and forget to say you’re sorry.

Love is really quite fantastic,

So just make magic, don’t be sorry about it,

Love means never having to say you’re sorry,

So, darlin’, just be yourself, be extra - ordinairy,

Really so splendoured, so adored,

The love I have for you, is out - poured (repeat to fade).

Chorus
