Just Hangin’ Around

Just hanging around,

Passing the time,

Sat at the bus – stop,

In a life with no rhyme.

Chorus

It’s just like watching paint dry,

Watching the tear fall as you cry.

It falls with a very special ring,

Must be music, or something.

Just waiting for a taxi,

Anticipating nothing much, it’s true,

Another coat of Maxi, make – up waxy,

With very little else to do, it’s blue.

Chorus

Just sitting around,

Counting snowflakes,

Falling on the ground,

Listening to it’s music sound.

Chorus

Just tapping my finger,

Humming a tune,

Seems like here I’ll linger,

Until way past next June.

Chorus

Just strumming this chord,

Waiting fo everyone else to get aboard,

Abroad I’m bored,

Can count in seconds, how long that bird’s

soared.
