Between The Sheets

Let’s hit the sack,

I’ll scratch your back,

Meet you upstairs,

With nothing to wear.

Between the sheets,

Spare a thought,

For all the things,

That I have taught.

Whisper sweet nothings, in my ear,

Switch me into second gear.

Catch ya’ later is what you said,

Did you mean between the sheets of my bed ?

Though the sheets may be quite crinkled,

You iron my cares away, take all the worries of the day,

In the limelight, you may see I’m not wrinkled,

Honey, you’re the one who makes sure I’m twinkled.

Turn of the light,

Put some music on,

I’ll roll over,

So on both sides, I get done.

Darlin’ you are second to none.

You move a little closer, still,

Close the door, so wilt, I will.

On the windowsill,

A candle throws light on the floor,

Now I’m begging for more and more.

Shadows cast across the room,

Honey you make my heart go boom !

Bright light amidst all this gloom.

As, between the sheets, we zoom.

You enjoy me, I’ll enjoy you,

In between the sheets,

There’s so much to say and do … (repeat to fade)
