Chorus

Honey, it tasted of honey when we kissed,

It must have been nectar (but a little bit missed).

Where did you find that sugar, bunny ?

It must have cost an awful lot of money …

Strawberry jam on my cheeks,

Sprinkled marmalade, every night of the week.

Chorus

Chocolate sauce, of course,

That tastes rather sweet,

Honey, when you nibbled, it tasted a sugary treat.

Honey, you are good enough to eat.

Chorus

A hot flush of luscious butter,

Raspberry ripple to make me blush when you mutter.

A topping of dreamy ice – cream that makes my heart flutter,

Love spread all over my bed spread,

Sundaes all Sunday afternoon, in my head.

Chorus

Lemon and lime, all of the time,

Honey, your kisses taste quite sublime (repeat to fade).
