Old Age, New Age

Despite my old age,

You make me feel like new,

I may have wrinkles,

But I still love you through and through.

I may be over fifty – five,

But honey, I’m still can jive,

When I am with you,

I take another dive.

I may be old, and bent over a little bit,

I may sometimes miss the chair, whenever I try to sit on it.

But, honey, when I meet you, I feel fit – because you’re a hit !

Even though I may be old,

You make me feel young again, if I may be so bold,

Even though I may be drawing my pension,

When I’m with you, I don’t feel the cold.

In my old age, you’re all the rage …

I wonder how you knew, that you made this ol’ heart like new … (repeat

to fade).
