Jacqui Richards’s Weblog

My head is in pieces,

Lost one or two on the floor,

Nothing fits together,

Just can’t take anymore.

In the chaotic jigsaw that is my life,

Thank heavens for you, my precious wife,

When everything is torn and fallen apart,

You’re the one who mends my broken heart.

Should have stayed tidy and stacked away,

But, honey, lost one or two jigsaw pieces on the way,

Thankfully, you make all my pieces fit,

And you bring order to simplify things a bit.

Pretty as a picture,

Your images starts to shape,

Piecing the pieces together,

Don’t need glue, just you to bring Sunny weather.

And when I think that things don’t match up,

When I’m feeling somewhat mixed up,

You come along to patch things up,

And broken jigsaw pieces, you fix up.
