Chorus

But life ain’t over, we’re really at the start,

Everything isn’t completely fallen apart.

Don’t give up, find a miracle, honey,

Even the pockets of millionaires, sometimes have no money.

Sometimes, when I’m so tired, and life feels like Midnight all

day,

Sometimes, when I’m feeling uninspired, you take my

worries away.

If I’m lost, far from home, and cannot find the way,

You take my hand, understand and lay me peacefully in the

hay.

Chorus

Once or twice, life’s book’s closed rather than read,

I’m broken – hearted with all the things you said,

At times like this, when everything seems amiss,

Take my hand, understand, and raise me from despair, to

bliss.

Chorus

Often, I feel like all hope is lost,

Just like a junk mail letter, mislaid in the post,

No home to call my own, just like a wandering ghost,

Take my hand, understand, and love me more than most.

Chorus

Life in the old dog,

Plenty more fish in the sea,

Used, refused, uninpsired, as can be,

You breath new life and rejuvenate me … (repeat to fade).
