Freedom Fighter

Brave heart of a freedom fighter,

Would a little love from me make ya’ heart lighter ?

Would the breeze blow a kiss from me,

To make the candle ya’ burn for me brighter, you see ?

In days of old,

Men searched for a crown of gold,

A chalice to hold,

And for a fairy tale to be told,

About a Princess to behold,

And a burning love that never grows cold.

Brave heart, though we may well be apart,

Our love has no end, feels only like a start.

Brave heart, you may be up in the hills, far away,

But, please, come down, to see me today.

Brave heart, forget the tales of daring do,

Please tell me that you love me do,

And that forever, you’ll be mine, too … (repeat to fade).
