Busker’s Miracle

When I am down and in despair,

I find a miracle, they’re everywhere,

Even in the darkest hours,

God sends a miracle – in the flowers.

When there are only grey skies above,

He sends a rainbow, full of love,

When there seems to be no love at all,

God sends a smile – in a party or a ball.

When there’s hope,

A miracle fairy appears to help you cope.

The miracle of a rainy day,

Is a breeze, to drive clouds away.

Then in Winter, there’s a miracle in the kind things you say,

A miracle happens whenever you stay.

You paint a picture with thoughtful words,

And a miracle appears amongst the birds.

When there is sadness, the miracle of you brings gladness,

There’s a miracle in everything that you do, too,

Despite the world’s pain and suffering,

God sent the miracle of you.

In Winter, if I look for a miracle, and there seems to be none,

One eventually appears, in a ray of Sun.

When there is drudge, year after year, hurting so much,

God sends a miracle, in a gentle touch.

It’s amazing how God does that,

He throws or drops a miracle, a pound coin in my hat.
